So....HI! Hey yo. Hello. I am going to try my damnedest to do this on a regularish basis again. Life has gotten me doing things nowadays that doesn't leave a lot of time for me to sit here and update this frigging thing often. However, when I do have time I really don't know what in the blue hell to write about. I'm not really writing my novels (still or again as it may be) so that easy topic is kind of lost to me. I will get this thing updated more regularly though. I think. I plan to at least.
Moving on.....
Random thoughts ahoy!
-I liked the pilot of Revolution a metric crap ton! I did not enjoy the second episode nearly as much. I mean, not even half of half of half as much. I'm not sure why, other than that I was totally not all that interested in the final minute or two of the pilot, and I'm not that interested in the Mythology all that much as to why dome people have the ability to turn the power back on. At this point I am kind of thinking that I might not make it the full season with this show. We'll see, but being bored about 20 minutes into Episode Two is not a great sign for the future.
-As much as I need to write some more, I need to read some more as well. I am in the middle of three books, and have been in roughly the same spot for about a month and a half. I need to get my ass in gear and read more. At this point I am not going to make my goal of 20 books for 2012, but I need to hit at least 15.
-I started watching Once Upon A Time with Alicia (she's pretty awesome and sweet by the way) this past Sunday. I watched some of the pilot this past winter, but that was it. We watched the first two episodes Sunday Night while we ate (I made us Sloppy Joe Casserole, and yum!) and I liked it. A lot. Way more than I did this winter when I kinda sorta almost watched the pilot. I know it returns this Sunday Night (along with Revenge which I got into via HuluPlus late Spring/early summer, but I doubt we catch up anytime before the end of the year if I had to guess. And who knows, it might take a left turn into crapsville after a few more episodes, but so far so good.
-We went and saw House At The End Of The Street this past Saturday Night and, despite my daughter's two thumbs up it was just a decent enough movie. I didn't feel like I had wasted my money at all, but it wasn't the greatest thing I had ever seen either. It was decent. Some of the plot points were easy to figure out, and there was one or two semi surprises for me, but all in all it was just an "Oh I saw that now. Not bad." kind of film.
-I am sad to admit I watched an episode of Castle and really kind of liked it. Now I am thinking I might go back and watch from the beginning sometime via Netflix. That will give me five or so months worth of watching. Maybe.
-This kind of blows. Don't worry, I realize it too. It will get better again sometime soonish. I need to get my feet wet again. It happens.
That's all I have.

Hmmm...where to begin? (in no particular order)Yes,yes you need to post more. Yes you need to read more books...like I'm one to talk,he who has only read 2 this year. Sloppy Joe casserole? (pulls up chair, paper plate & spoon) Classy! Has also been tempted to watch Castle out of deep fondness for Nathan Fillion, but don't want to start liking it & have it start to become a big steaming pile of bantha fodder like Bones did. I like Alicia too, she's super swell.
